Since I've got the website up now, I'm going to do away with the blog (maybe only temporarily, but we'll see)! I've been posting sneak peeks on Facebook, and there just isn't enough time in the day to manage this blog, the website, and my personal blog, http://www.brandonandgara.blogspot.com/. C's HS Senior Session

Oh my goodness. Miss C could be a model for sure! I could have photographed her all day even in the 30 degree Lubbock weather! She was an all star! Good luck at Texas Tech next year!!

P's Texas Tech Senior Session

P is graduating from Texas Tech this spring so while I was in Lubbock over Spring Break I got to do a quick session with her on campus! She rocked the red and black! Beautiful girl and sweet spirit!!

Baby S's Newborn Session

Baby S arrived safe and sound and just as cute as can be. Big Brother J is so proud and such a big help already! What a sweet and lovely family!!

Baby W's 7.5 Week Session

We were a little late with W's "newborn" session since he is now 7.5 weeks old!! He is the sweetest little squeaker! He has the most amazing squeaky cry! I can't wait to see baby W grow for many many years to come!

K&K&J Maternity

A sweet friend from A&M is expecting her second bundle of joy in a couple of weeks. K&K are such awesome parents, and J is going to be such a great big brother. This family was so awesome to photograph, and I can't wait to get my hands on baby sister S in just a few weeks for her newborn shoot.

K&K Wedding

While I generally do only portrait photography, occasionally I get a wedding request. Weddings are so hard, but so much fun too. Plus, I always get a little choked up thinking back to one of the happiest days of my life and strive to capture some of those genuine feelings that are only felt on that special day. I shot a quickie engagement session with K&K after a quick consult for their wedding that I'll be shooting in December. They are absolutely adorable, and their love for one another is so genuine and sweet. Some beautiful and heartfelt images despite the downpour!

What a crew this was! So many eyes to keep focused on the camera. It was well worth all the sweat though because I think we got some great family shots. The boys were ALL boy, but they sure loved their princess of a litttle sister!

K's Makeshift Maternity Session

K, one of my besties from college, is due with Baby Elizabeth on Aug. 26th. She traveled to town for one of my showers so I stuck her in my back yard on Saturday afternoon and got a couple of great pics. Here is one of my faves. We did some with her belly exposed which also turned out beautiful.

She is absolutely gorgeous and totally the epitome of the pregnant glow. I can't wait to raise our babies together!

I did a shoot in April for one of my dearest friends in Dallas. She has the most precious little boy who had just turned ONE!!! I think the pics turned out great! He absolutely made the best faces!

I put together this book for them and look forward to documenting his life with pics and a subsequent book every year.

J&J Maternity Session

J is one of my newest life-long friends if that makes any sense. It is no doubt that God put her in my life, and I just love her and her sweet hubby dearly. As an added bonus, she is a photographer's dream. I had the privilege of taking some amazing shots of her in mid-December and putting together a beautiful album to commemorate her pregnancy. Miss T joined their family in February, and I couldn't be happier for them. XOXO!

A&W Maternity Session

W and I met in law school, and we became fast friends with him and his wife, A. They are now some of our very dearest friends (even if they did go to Texas). :) They have since welcomed baby Charlotte, and she just could not be any cuter!

Extended Family

I took S&B's engagement pics a few months ago, and a few weeks ago, I took some of most of their blended family (well, they'll be officially blended in about a month). Talk about girls, girls, girls. I had the pleasure of shooting my "extended" family in November. The mom is the sis of my bestest bud, so they are like family to me. They were so great and up for anything. The boys had so much personality, and sweet MM is just as angelic in real life (most of the time). ;) Thanks for letting me shoot this fun session. I photographed L in November. She was rocking the cutest little outfit that I would totally own if they made it in my size. Well, maybe not, but she loooked super adorable in it and definitely knew how to "own" it. These are a few from her session (I even sneaked in a couple with her beautiful mom). L, we still need to grab that hot chocolate. :)

S&B Engagement Session

What an honor I had to capture my uncle-in-law and auntie-in-law-to-be's engagement session. How is that for a mouthful? We had so much fun shooting in downtown FW and the stockyards. The love that they have for each other is so evident. I am so happy that they found each other and wish them a lifetime of love and happiness. S's littlest two were along for the ride, and I couldn't help getting a couple shots of their adorableness. Thanks for letting me capture these special moments.

"M" Family

What a joy this family of 5 was to shoot. All 3 kids were so well behaved and each had their own distinct personalities. The older boy was a great help and was so willing to try anything, the younger boy was constantly doing his own thing which just happened to translate into great pics, and the sweet baby girl was a complete joy - she hardly made a peep and was too cute for words. Mom and Dad were totally photogenic, and I hope they enjoy these pics for many years to come. Here are a few of my favorites:
